GOV. MALLOY: EAST HAVEN DISASTER LOAN OUTREACH CENTER TO REMAIN OPEN UNTIL OCTOBER 27
(HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the Disaster Loan Outreach Center in East Haven, which had previously been scheduled to close tomorrow, will now remain open through October 27 to continue assisting residents in the area impacted by Tropical Storm Irene.
Federal representatives will remain on hand to assist in the disaster outreach process. The office is located at the East Haven Town Beach at 160 Cosey Beach Road.
To be considered for all forms of disaster assistance, disaster survivors should first register with FEMA online anytime at www.disasterassistance.gov
, or by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or 1-800-462-7585 for TTY. These toll-free telephone numbers will operate 7 a.m. through 10 p.m. daily.
