GOV. MALLOY: SANDY HOOK ADVISORY COMMISSION TO HEAR FROM INFRASTRUCTURE DESIGN, SAFETY & SECURITY EXPERTS FRIDAY
(HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the Sandy Hook Advisory Commission is next scheduled to meet on Friday, February 8, at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford, where they will hear testimony from experts in the field of infrastructure design, safety and security.
The Sandy Hook Advisory Commission is a 16-member panel of experts created by Governor Malloy and chaired by Hamden Mayor Scott Jackson, charged with reviewing current policy and making specific recommendations in the areas of public safety, with particular attention paid to school safety, mental health, and gun violence prevention.
